Intake/Initial Session (60 minutes): $160

Individual Therapy Session (53-60 minutes): $135

Cash, major credit cards, and checks are accepted forms of payment. All payments are due at your session. If you plan to use insurance, please see below.

Insurance

Please note that only Emily Sabado is in network with insurance companies.

Accepting insurance allows me to serve a wider audience and to make mental health services more accessible. In order to use your mental health insurance, a medical necessity must be present and there must be a mental health diagnosis determined. A mental health diagnosis is simply a way of communicating to insurance companies the reason for treatment. Contrary to beliefs, it is simply a formal name for a cluster of symptoms and presentation, not a judgment nor an identity for a person.

The following are insurance plans that I currently accept. If I accept your insurance, your rates will be different than the rates quoted above. I will do my best to ensure that I accept your insurance benefits, in the same way, that you will be responsible for ensuring that I am in-network with your provider.

If you have out-of-network benefits and would like to be reimbursed for the services you receive, I am happy to provide you with a superbill that shows the services provided that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

I advise all clients that are interested in out-of-network as well as in-network reimbursement to contact their insurance provider directly for more information. Here are some important questions to ask your insurance company:

  • Is there a deductible? If so:

    • How much is it?

    • How much have I already used up?

    • Does it apply to the therapy services I will receive?

    • When does it restart?

  • Does my plan only cover a certain number of appointments?

  • Is there a copay I should be aware of?

  • What do you need in order to submit for reimbursement?

  • Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?

  • If I have out-of-network benefits, how much will I be reimbursed, the full amount or a portion?

  • Is there a pre-approval required prior to obtaining out-of-network mental health services in order to be reimbursed?

I am always happy to guide you in this process as I know it can be confusing at times.

Appointment Policy

Please remember to cancel or reschedule 24 hours in advance. You will be responsible for the entire fee if cancellation is less than 24 hours. This is necessary because a time commitment is made to you and is held exclusively for you.
